From street poetry to the overthrow of statues ─ who is talking and what? Turku Main Library Studio at 3.00 p.m.

Pauliina Haasjoki, Susinukke Kosola, Juha Kulmala and Virpi Vairinen will discuss at the Turku Main Library Studio on Saturday 14th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

In recent years, poetry has shifted from the private to general problems at the subject level, while the traditional social ethos has disintegrated identity- and individual-level perspectives. Or is that so? Do environmental and climate crises fit into the poem or do they break it? Why is “experimentation” striving towards the technical and the artificial. Is it striving? What kind of language is lying the least?

Note! The main library’s Studio can now only accommodate 30 people, so it’s worth arriving on time!

The public is strongly recommended to use a face mask, and is otherwise reminded to maintain safety distance and other precautions to reduce the risk of infection. If you feel sore or symptomatic, you should not come.
